POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Technician – ELV shall add value to the Departmental performance by carrying out ELV work in operation, repair and maintenance within the Galaxy Resort & Casino.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

1. Understand the use of materials, tools and equipment for ELV work implementation.
2. Occupy the following skill sets:
a. Operation of BMS system, Digital Signage, SMATV and carparking systems
b. Trouble-shooting of BMS, Digital Signage, SMATV and Carparking systems
c. Operation of HVAC system including water side and air side
d. Co-ordinating the interface of input and output between all E&M equipment
3. Understand and follow all relevant occupational health and safety procedures.
4. Notify Supervisor – ELV on materials and parts required.
5. Work closely with all other Departments to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
6. Always maintain clean and presentatble appearance at work.
7. Feedback to Supervisor – ELV on work progress.
8. Attend training.
9. Provide training and sharing within the ELV Team.
10. Coach the Team on behalf of the ELV-Superviosr when the Supervisor is off duty.
11. Attend shift duties as necessary and assigned.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Successful completion of a relevant and accredited apprenticeship in ELV trade.
2. A minimum 5-year ELV trade experience of which 3 years preferably in a 5-star hotel environment.
3. EMSD Electrical Worker Certificate holder is preferred.
4. Team spirit and cooperation.
5. High efficiency and good technical background.
6. Fluency in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
7. Knowledge of Mandarin preferred but not essential.
8. PC knowledge including AutoCAD, Words and Excel is preferred.
