Our client is a High End (Premium) Fashion Trading Firm, they are looking for Senior Technician / Technical Manager (WOMEN’S WEAR HIGH FASHION - SWEATER) - USA/EU Market

WORK LOCATION : CANTON OR SHANGHAI

Responsibilities:

• Review the proto, fit and pre-production sample tech pack with vendor / factory Technician to clarify all queries after handover meeting of merchandising team;

• Liaising with factories' Technician & knitting pattern to resolve linking, fitting and construction issue to achieve the standard;

• Review and identify issues on sample style, measurements, fitting, construction and workmanship;

• Provide technical advice and support to factories and merchandising team in order to achieve the requirement from designers;

• Provide technical control to factory to ensure them to follow the standards and quality maintenance;

• Update Technical comments in system for the team record;

• Perform other projects assigned by management.  

Requirements:

• Form 5 or above;

• At least 8-10 years working experience in practical garment manufacturing with strong experience in Sweater area;

• Must have experience in handling sweater experience for USA/EU high end designer market;

• Excellent Technical knowledge in knitting pattern, garment construction, fitting workmanship and manufacturing skill;

• Excellent communication skill;

• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded;

• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;

• Literate in Microsoft office programs and any pattern cad system;
