The Software Growth Strategy team within the Software and Advanced Technology Group (SATG) plays a fundamental role in closely partnering with technology and business leaders across Intel to define, drive, and provide foundational support for the execution of cross company and industry technology initiatives. This includes a wide variety of organic and inorganic software growth strategies developed in close partnership with our technology and business groups, Chief Strategy Office, Intel Capital, and our Mergers and Acquisitions team.
We are looking for a Technical Strategy Analyst with specific technology domain expertise to accelerate our software growth strategy. The position requires a combination of strategic, technical, and business acumen, demonstrated ability to work effectively across functional and organizational boundaries, and skills required to communicate effectively with executive, business, and technical audiences.
The candidate should have broad knowledge of and experience with companies, platforms, standards, technologies, products, and services in one or more of the following technology domains:
- Security and Privacy: Including Confidential/Trusted Compute, vulnerability and threat management, encryption and data privacy, Secure software delivery (DevSecOps) including deployment security and configuration assurance, and/or Identity and Access Management.
- AI - Including Data Science, Machine Learning, and/or Deep Learning.
- Cloud Computing - Cloud native architectures and applications including microservices, container orchestration, serverless compute, data as a service, low/no code development tools, and/or Infrastructure-as-Code.
Scope and responsibilities include:
- Participate as technology domain representative for strategy initiatives including definition, research, development, presentation, review, analysis, market sensing, and tracking.
- Serve as team participant to drive inorganic growth opportunities including business and talent acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
- Sponsor research, analysis, presentation, and recommendations to surface and accelerate new growth opportunities.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
-AND-
- 4+ years of overall domain technical experience in software development, product, service or support organizations.
- 2+ years in a related technology strategy role which can include Product Management, Technical Evangelist, Investment Analyst (VC, Private Equity, or Investment Banking), Industry Analyst, Corporate Strategy, or Business Development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- BA or MBA degree in a business discipline.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
