As a Senior Test Engineer you will lead and perform verification and validation activities in complex development projects supporting Eaton IoT (Internet of Things) and ETiB (Energy Transition in Buildings) growth initiatives.

Your key deliverables :

•    Lead and execute verification and validation work packages of independent test team (Hardware/Firmware testers) that supports the product line R&D organization.
•    Reviews of product specifications, ensuring their alignment with test specifications and test plans.
•    Provide input to test planning by estimates of test activities.
•    Provide mentoring to junior testers to develop their knowledge of verification and validation methodology, processes and tooling.
•    Lead and execute test tasks through the development lifecycle process ensuring that Eaton's stage gate process and project deliverables are completed and adhered too in a timely and efficient manner.
•    Effectively co-operate with other engineering/innovation teams and centers, as well as internal and external service providers/partners to meet requirements.
•    Performing of test activities according to defined testing methodologies, tooling and process, adhere to electrical, electronic & software standards. Contribute to their implementation and improvements.
•    Prepare and maintain complete test documentation and records for internal / external use.
•    Review and approve test reports.
•    Demonstrate project issue resolution knowledge and effectively make decisions based on appropriate data. 
•    Work on identifying root cause of problems found, develop solutions, and implement changes for problems as they arise.
•    Maintain effective relationships with R&D functions.

Qualifications

Required:

•    Electrical / Electronics / Software engineer (embedded systems), Master´s degree preferred
•    2+ years of experience in firmware/software/hardware verification & validation, 
•    1+ years of experience in technical leading in the project
•    In-depth experience in verification and validation of hardware/firmware/software products & systems
•    Strong technical attitude; product knowledge and knowledge of UL, IEC, EN, ISO standards
•    Experience in project management skills (classical, agile scrum)
•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken, German and Czech is an advantage.
