As a Test Writing Product Development Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Design and development of functional tests for cutting edge technology microprocessors to assure high quality of products
• Interact very closely with design teams to deep dive on microprocessors architecture, features, and DFT logic; to develop functional test content for these products
• Isolation of microprocessor manufacturing failures to achieve test hole identification and resolution through functional testing development
• Development of tools in high level programming languages to automate processes and perform data analysis for high volume testing results
• Ensure the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp
• Make significant contributions to design development and validation of testability circuits
• Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods
• Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• This position requires a Bachelors, Lic or Master degree in Electric/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in the area
• 1+ year of experience in leadership roles (examples: project management, team lead, leading key projects/teams)
• Advanced English level
• Candidate must have permanent unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica

Preferred Qualifications:
Major in Digital Circuits or Computer Architecture
Knowledge in:

• Intel Architecture - x86 assembly language
• Hardware Description Languages (Verilog/HDL/Verdi)
• Unix/Linux environment
• Experience in Semiconductor Testing Methodologies
• Test content development generation and validation
• Good understanding and or experience in DFT hardware testing methods and tools
• Experience in logic validation and characterization
• Data science experience in engineering fields and big data application development is a plus

IPSG is comprised of a reusable pool of infrastructure IP blocks, design enabling services such as tools and automation, and a best-in-class post silicon ecosystem that ramps quickly to high volume manufacturing and validation. Our primary mission is to protect Intel's brand by providing the infrastructure necessary to enable all of Intel's products to hit the market on a dependable and predictable cadence.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
