The User Experience (UX) team at Bentley Systems is looking for a Senior UX Designer, located in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania.  
 At Bentley Systems, we deliver solutions for complex engineering projects. Our users are the ones designing, building and managing the world’s infrastructure (Transportation, Energy, Water, Cities etc.). It requires us to know their needs very well, and this is where UX Design plays its critical role.  

As a UX Designer you will work closely with project stakeholders and fellow designers from around the globe. You will create and refine target personas to help our developers understand who they are building software for: what are the problems, goals, and optimal solutions for these infrastructure professionals? Our users and solving their unique problems should be the core of your focus. You will then work within the context of an established user-centered design process to create proposals expressed as low and high-fidelity prototypes. Finally, you will test and validate your ideas through usability labs.  
 

In your role you will: 

• Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and manage the scope 
• Contribute to user research (interviews, usability testing etc.)  
• Translate user research findings into design improvements  
• Ensure that designs are consistent with our design system 
• Mentor junior UX colleagues and onboarders 
• Manage UX work on a product  

We expect you to have: 

• A professional portfolio showcasing skills, with particular emphasis on problem-solving (we want to hear about something particularly challenging, and what you did to provide a solution) 
• Experience managing or leading a design team  
• Mastery of general UX design competences (research, interaction design, usability testing) 
• Fluency in both written and spoken English 

  

Additional points for: 

• Familiarity with technical constraints as they apply to designing for different platforms   
• Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience or related field 
• Familiarity with engineering workflows
