JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a UX Designer at RWS you will assess, iteratively design, and safeguard the usability and usefulness of the products and services you will be working on. This requires you to build up a solid understanding of the users you are designing for, including their needs, goals, experiences, and their professional work context. This will enable you to iteratively craft detailed interactive design solutions for a given design problem or project brief. You will be an expert in simulating and prototyping the anticipated end user experience as good and realistic as possible (and necessary) to be able to test and validate design solutions before a developer writes a single line of code. Ones your interaction designs are validated and proved usable, you will create responsive user interface designs following our general design guidelines and principles. You will also team up with the rest of  RWS’s user experience design team to design and evolve our new “Graphene” user interface design language and system.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. 1. Understand the project requirement brief from stakeholders (Problem statement, business, and user goal, priority, etc.)
   2. Plan design sprint & task estimations
   3. Solid understanding of design process, UX design & exceptional UI design skills
   4. Interact with stakeholders to discuss task progress and queries
   5. Tracking multiple project statuses and sharing with PMs
   6. Align with other designers & team members as required (We brainstorm and exchange ideas a lot)
   7. Individual contributor (Design executions - Multiple projects)
   8. Discussion with tech leads and developers (to understand implantation issues/challenges)

Desired Skills & Experience

• You have an outstanding design portfolio demonstrating how you approached and solved design problems in previous projects (Dribbble, Behance, website, etc.)
• You are proficient in creating compelling UX and UI design concepts, mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using tools such as Axure, Invision, Framer, or others.
• You have expert level hands-on experience in using visual user interface design tools such as Sketch or Adobe CC
• You are interested and have a good understanding of current web UI technologies, web content management trends, tools, and concepts.
• You have strong knowledge of methods and techniques in information architecture, interaction design, and visual UI design in the context of responsive web applications and native apps
• You approach design problems in an iterative fashion, validating assumptions and design concepts with with users and internal stakeholders.
• You can communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in individual and group settings.
• You bring in 4+ years of experience in designing user experience with successful market launches of products and services (preferably web-based business applications)
