Tridion is the content management platform that drives business for companies such as HP, Deloitte, and KLM (plus other big names we’re not allowed to mention). We are starting a journey to reinvent what we do to bring benefits to a greater range of mid-size enterprises. In this quest, the product design team plays an essential role in researching, experimenting, and defining the ways that customers interact with content. We are looking for a design team leader who can empower the whole team to contribute strategically while still building on the solid design system and research foundation that has been established.
Goals for the role are
Lead the product design team by example in mapping customers’ jobs to be done to appropriate content and interaction models.
Ensure that product design supports commercial and market goals, in conjunction with product management directors and wider stakeholders
Help to inspire senior management on the growth potential from new ways of solving problems
Help the team make trade-offs between precision and overall progress, and to creatively use existing technical capabilities to build new interactions
Coach the team on how to break down complex problems, write and test hypotheses, craft success measures, and jointly work through proofs of concept that make a “minimal lovable” product direction clear
You need
3+ years contributing to the growth of a SaaS B2B product
2+ years of design leadership, with direct reports under your guidance and mentorship
The ability to both listen and learn, as well as articulate a vision that is pragmatically executable
The ability to rapidly absorb new mental models for technical products, and to work with engineering counterparts within an established technical architecture to build new capabilities
Direct experience of UX design and research, with the desire to learn more about new approaches from your team and from peers in the field
It would be great if you also have
Experience within a product-led-growth environment
Experience in content management or digital workplace tools
Some experience working with technical partners on joint offerings
