For more information, visit Eaton.com We have an exciting and immediate opening in our Engineering team- Senior Validation Engineer. Perform testing of UPS units and systems. Design and development of test methods and test capability. Develop the laboratory to function effectively while following correct procedures and health and safety guidelines. Provide support and coaching for junior colleagues. Your key deliverables: Test planning, building of test setups, testing these systems and documenting the test results Development of test process, planning, requirements, documentation, and automation Provide technical support to other functions Overseeing safety and condition of laboratory equipment Participate to laboratory management (CTF2 activities) Cooperation with Eaton test organizations around the world Development and documentation of UPS systems Follow requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 2005 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories) Qualifications Are you? Required: Master's or bachelor’s degree in (Power) Electronics Minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic product electrical testing and or design Familiar with common tools and methods to work in high power lab environment: oscilloscope, power analyzer and meters Electrical system knowledge UPS installations and safety (as a plus) Understanding of embedded firmware Self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, task oriented, and able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements.
