The Role:

Key Deliverables

* Oversee and develop the day-to-day operations of IP Services and the team by providing strong ongoing leadership and management.
* Form a highly trusted and effective relationship with the divisional President to lead the organisation collaboratively.
* Cooperate with Transformation Programme Director to implement new Target Operating Model
* Design and implement organisational operations and processes suitable for a transforming and growth organisation.
* Optimise customer journey from onboarding through the full Order-to-Cash cycle, achieving all customer satisfaction and on-time delivery targets
* Translate strategy into actionable goals and plans, pre-empt scaling challenges and plan for growth, working closely with the President and the wider executive team to achieve this.
* Ensure the well-being and growth of the team through effective recruiting, onboarding, ongoing development, management and retention of team members.
* Analyse internal operations, identify and implement improvements, using data to inform decisions.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with the President, team members, and other key stakeholders across RWS.
* Lead the team day-to-day and put in place suitable structures to maximize the productivity and well-being of the team

Organisational Structure

* Role reports to President IP Services
* The role leads and has overall responsibility for the following departments of IP Services: Production, Customer Experience, with operations teams in UK, China, Japan, USA
* SVP Operations is a member of the IP Services Leadership team


Key Skills & Experience Requirements

* Demonstrable senior operational business experience, ideally within a B2B professional services business, demonstrating a high level of understanding of all the key organisational functions.
* Previous experience in a similar executive leadership position, with proven success in delivering operational success.
* Business transformation experience, with a track record of identifying process bottlenecks and delivering quantifiable efficiencies
* Experience of Lean six sigma & business process reengineering/automation in services sector
* Global perspective of follow-the sun operations and rightshoring principles
* High commercial and business literacy.
* Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
* A high degree of resourcefulness and ability to be effective within a rapid change organisation and marketplace.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence stakeholders and build strong and effective working relationships.
* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills and a willingness to ‘roll up sleeves’ to work well within a dynamic organisation.
* A demonstrated history of being both process driven and result focused.
* Self-motivated, driven, proactive, helpful and enthusiastic team player.
