Senior iOS Engineer

BCGDV has partnered with a large medical device manufacturer to build an app that is transforming the lives of patients living with neurological diseases, empowering them to better understand their condition, have better conversations with their doctor and ultimately live a better life. 

As part of this venture, we're looking for someone to lead the ongoing development of our iOS and companion watchOS apps. This role is based between Soho and Paddington.

You will be:

• Joining a small product focused engineering team working directly with a small cross functional team of designers, engineers and venture builders. 
• Be responsible for an iOS and watchOS app, influencing design and responsible for the delivery of key features.
• Maintaining high standards of code quality, appropriate tests and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Working in a fast paced environment where ambiguity is the norm.

You will have:

• You have shipped and iterated on at least two apps in the App Store, one with an Apple Watch companion app
• You know the ins, outs, strengths and limitations of Swift
• You have worked with Apple Frameworks including HealthKit, Core Motion, CoreML, WatchConnectivity and common open source libraries (i.e. Alamofire)
• You are comfortable using common iOS architecture patterns (e.g. MVC, MVVM, KVO, etc.)
• Comfortable interacting with a RESTful API and work closely with other engineers.
• Can configure the Apple store distribution infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Thrive in fast paced demanding startup environments.
