Senior technology Lead for Germany and East Europe (m/f/d) 

This job is building the bridge between the business and our IT department (MGS and DT) to:

1. Build and drive the digital transformation agenda in our business

2. Co-create the state-of-the-art digital solutions together with the leadership teams by using agile methodologies and design thinking techniques.

3.  Bring the outside in: Drives transformational thinking and digital solutions from other segments and industries into local business with stakeholders

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Business Management and/or IT degree preferred) 

• 5+ years of professional experience in digital technologies activities Extensive experience in crisis/issues management and with government interaction/government relations 

• Strong customer focus with demonstrated ability to build deeper productive relationships including business leaders, IT personnel and project leaders  

• Sound understanding of a company’s business and technology strategies and established business process areas and the ways in which technology may impact and enhance business processes  

• Strong problem solving skills and curiosity as well as understanding of modern digital technologies to be able to evaluate solution and process alternatives 

• Spirit of agile approach (test & learn, iterative delivery, focus on value) and design thinking 

Key Tasks: 

• Create and manage the digital transformation agenda for Germany and Poland/Eastern Europe Petcare sites  

• Collaborate with the leadership teams to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for generating business value and improvement in current business processes and performance 

• Implement and apply newest digital technologies: such as (big) data analytics, machine learning, augmented reality, IoT, AI, robotics, as well as methodologies like design thinking and agile, continuously learning and building skills independently and with external networks 

• Manage all Petcare Nutrition sites in Germany (VDN , MIN) and Poland/Eastern Europe (WAW, SOC, BOK, GAR) with the support of the Petcare Germany and Poland Unit BP senior analysts 

• Business Relationship Management aligned with industry best practice

• Drive of Digital education and fostering Digital Workplace amongst business leaders and associates leading by example 

• Support of the acceleration of Petcare Nutrition digitalization and simplification of key strategic business priorities driving business readiness and change management 

• Support of the portfolio management discipline including capability and business outcome / value focus, as well as financial discipline including TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) of Digital Technologies 

• Ongoing management and measurement of customer satisfaction and driving improvements for common themes of the site action plans 

• Financial accountability of the overall DT costs for all owned sites in cooperation with the MGS Finance co-pilot 

• Has Project budgetary responsibility including planning, forecasting, execution and approvals, and deliver to MGS DT financial targets
