As a Test Engineer, you navigate Google's massive codebase, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You'll have a huge impact on the quality of Google's growing suite of products and services.

In this role, you will manage one of the key consumer satisfaction metrics - functional performance of the device. You'll be a member of the cross-functional team that will launch products, while also managing factory test stations from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for developing complete test solutions across the product lifecycle for functional and parametric validation of device sensor performance.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams on designing product specifications and implementing validation at the factory.
• Oversee test software development, fixture design and development, system integration and implementation.
• Cover device testing at system level (end-to-end assembly), mechanical level (all mechanical assemblies) and Surface Mount Technologies (SMT).
• Provide design for manufacture/testability (DFM/T) feedback and solutions to cross-functional Engineering and Operations teams.
