#### Position Description:


This position is within Lenovo’s Data Center Group, Server Development
organization and a member of the functional team whose mission is to deliver
server performance that is highest among industry competitors.

Successful candidate will work globally with performance engineers and
specialist located at Lenovo development labs in China and the USA to tackle
and solve system issues, along with ensuring new technology and marketing
requirements are integrate and implemented in a way that maximizes the servers
performance.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to review, understand and apply
technical details of product specifications, technical document from suppliers
and content industry standard forum.

Candidate should possess the ability write and execute complete test plans,
including isolating and debugging the issues source and deliver documentation
for assigned work. Candidate must be able to communicate their activity status
and validation progress during regular reviews with the team.

Candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skill and have a
demonstrate ability to execute and deliver timely results.

#### Position Requirements:


o - Candidate should have the keen knowledge in x86 computer architecture and
awareness of peripheral components such as Network card, RAID card, GPU,
Storage devices, Processor, and Memory. Experience in uEFI programming and
testing is a plus.
o - Applied knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Teams and Powerpoint to present
technically relevant ideas.
o - Have worked in a hardware testing lab, or computer system benchmark agency
in a project-like environment is a plus.
o - Possess at least 2+ years of experience working and using Linux commands
for operating systems such as RedHat, Suse, Ubunto, and CentOS.
o - Candidate should have the skills needed to write script for auto execution
-- ideally, at least 2+ years experience developing test automation using
C,C++, Python, Perl or XML.
o - Candidate should have 2+ years experience using uEFI or BIOS equipped
system,  In addition to experience documenting technical findings from test /
debug and review of specifications.
o - 2+ years experience executing industry  recognized benchmarks e.g.
SPECcpu, SPECjbb, SPECpower, and SPECvirt is a plus.
o - At least 2+ years of experiencing utilizing software tools such as
Perftest RPM, Netperf, NetPIPE,
o - Linux related certification is a plus.
o - TOEIC score above 700 is a plus.
