About Our Team
The Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG) is seeking experienced UEFI engineers for
next generation server products. The Data Center Group is innovating the
future-defined data center, today. From the simplest to the most complex IT
environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and
solutions help maximize the potential of data centers.
You will work closely with internal teams and be responsible for all UEFI/BIOS
related works during the planning, development, and validation phases of the
server product development. You will communicate with customers and marketing
team to understand customer requirements, provide proper design solution, and
fix bugs.
What You'll Do
• Responsible for x86 server UEFI/BIOS development, including feature
development and bug fixing
• Work with Lenovo sales specialists, pre- and post-sales technical support
teams, and end-customers on analysis and debug of customer issues and pain
points
• Work with internal team to design new product features into next generation.
• Interface with product marketing, sales teams, and end-customers to
understand their desires relative to future server features
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
field
• Expertise with Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, including
processor and chipsets
• 5+ years’ experience in UEFI development (UEFI coding and debug experience)
• C coding skills and experience
• Experience with Intel ITP or other HW tools to debug complex system firmware
issues
Preferred Qualifications:
• Well organized, with good written and oral communication skills
•Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preference.
• Good knowledge of industry standards, such as UEFI, BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe,
USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI and etc.
