Join Siemens Large Drives as a Service Coordinator (12 Month FTC, with a view to go permanent), and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow. The position is based in our Manchester office, with flexibility to work from home and office. Siemens Large Drives is a market leader in the supply of medium voltage motors and drives. Reporting to the Spares & Service Co-ordination Team Leader, the UK Field Service Co-ordinator works closely with customers, service engineers and the UK Service Manager to ensure our customers are supported in commissioning activities, preventative maintenance visits and equipment breakdowns. This is your role. What part will you play? Logging incoming service requests. Liaise with customers to obtain purchase orders and book onto SAP. Allocation of the workload to the engineers. Responsibility for sourcing of parts, ordering and ensuring that they arrive to site in a timely manner. Responsibility for ensuring the return of the parts are sent to the correct team (warranty/exchange/repair). Ensuring that all relevant paperwork & checks have been issued before engineers’ travel. Closing the jobs down in a timely manner for invoicing and liaising with the commercial officer. Providing cover to the overseas field service co-ordinator during holidays/absences. Use your skills to move the world forward. Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service. Able to respond quickly to customer requests, especially in a breakdown situation. Knowledge of SAP would be desirable but not essential Working hours Normal hours of working 0830 – 1630 with an alternating out of hours ‘on-call’ rota, subject to additional payment.
