The opportunity:

The Service Desk Administrator supports the user experience through the provision of request, problem and incident management. Your role will be part of a shared services team across Australia and New Zealand and is the single point of contact between the end user, IT and business community.

About the role:

  • Provide telephone and customer facing support for initial fault diagnosis and liaise with customer throughout to ensure satisfactory resolution of problem.

  • Ensure all comments are accurately entered and recorded in the ITSM tool.

  • Assist in the promotion of technology user awareness, education and satisfaction throughout AIA AU&NZ.

  • Active participate in a forum to champion technology awareness to leverage knowledge management as an asset to share information and provide IT users with the ability for self-help.

About you:

  • A high level of customer focused service – highly people oriented, proactive and focused on continuous improvement, accountability and innovation

  • Minimum two years’ technical experience within enterprise environments with a focus on end-user services

  • Familiar with ITIL practices

  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of

    • ServiceNow ITSM Tool

    • Microsoft Active Directory and user administration

    • Windows Operating systems, including Win 10

    • Microsoft Office Suite and common desktop applications

    • Mobile devices including iPhones & iPads

    • Audio Visual equipment

    • IP Telephony and Unified Communications experience (UCCE)

  • Flexibility to work across on a shift roster from 7am – 7pm

  • Experience with regulatory compliance issues is desirable
