ABB Turbocharging manufactures and maintains turbochargers for engines on ships, power stations, diesel locomotives and large, off-highway vehicles. We focus on how to help our customers today, while driving innovation in anticipation of future challenges.

Completing the technical standard training program of the Business Area, executing all standard jobs without supervision, accumulating experiences as per Business Area requirement. Driving customer satisfaction by competent and timely execution on a high quality of service jobs, on site and in the workshop.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing the tools, equipment’s and parts needed for a service job and understanding the scope of the job to be performed.
• Executing risk assessment on site, briefing the crew member on ongoing activities and instructing about board equipment’s.
• Working according to the instructions and adhering to regulatory and company Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policy.
• Performing services according to the scope defined within the work order.
• Collecting information about other turbochargers installed on site, informing the service coordinator accordingly.
• Completing data collection and maintaining a clean and proper working environment.
• Providing support service availability targets (24/7 service availability).

Your background

• Must have High school education and above.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Must have more than 3 years of experience in marine or machinery industry.
• Must be self-motivated and have Good communication skills.
• Must be open to frequent travelling.
