As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for delivering high quality service in compliance with service procedures, in Process Automation Business Area in Changsha, Shanghai, Chengdu, China.

Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will support proposal team in site investigation and provide technical solution.

Your responsibilities

• Delivering high quality service in compliance with service procedures. Typical service project includes ABB LV/MV Drive system retrofit, commissioning and troubleshooting work on customer site etc
• Ensuring effective communication with Project Manager (PM) and customer, helping PM managing project scope, scheduling, and cost
• Collaborating with digital team to explore and understand the demand of customer in advance solution for Drive system
• Supporting proposal team in site investigation and providing technical solution

Your background

• 1 to 3 years of work experience in Electrical Drive system.
• Sound knowledge of drive or industrial, drives and switchgear experience. Able to work independently under pressure
• A bachelor’s or above degree on electrical engineering, automation or related majors is required.
• Willing to learn and progress
• Must be ready to travel frequently
• Must be teamwork oriented
• Good communication skill both verbal and writing
