We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Engineer with Medical Imaging experience to join us and be based in Waikato or Bay of Plenty region working primarily on our Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) portfolio, and other modalities where required. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the primary function of your role will be to carry out all day to day service, maintenance and or installation activities with minimal supervision ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will ideally reside within 30 minutes from the Waikato or Tauranga hospital and be available to travel and support other New Zealand regions from time to time. You may occasionally be required to support on weekends to meet operational needs. Your tasks and responsibilities: Fulfilling the customer's needs for Preventative Maintenance (PM), any updates/upgrades, corrective service, installations in accordance with business contractual obligations (contract obligations or billing policy) Timely completion of Service Reports with good liaison with the Customer Care Centre (CCC), management, sales, marketing and/or customers ensuring current location and job status is communicated back to Customer Call Centre Comply with all Environment & Safety (EH&S) policies, service escalation procedures and that all customer requests, complaints and comments communicated to the jobholder are passed to the relevant department for action Maintaining personal knowledge of safety instructions and operational procedures and participate in training courses including 'self-learning', computer based and 'on the job' training. Your qualifications and experience: The successful candidate will need to have a background in servicing medical imaging equipment and be technical, or university trained. You will ideally hold a current NZ electrical & radiation licence or be willing to obtain one. Experience in service, maintenance and/or installation activities on relevant technologies is also required for this position. A strong communicator and your ability to build sound working relationships internally and externally will ensure your success in this role. Due to the current pandemic constraints, you must be able to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in New Zealand.
