Siemens offers a broad portfolio of grid control and automation; low- and medium-voltage power distribution, switching and control; and building automation, fire safety and security, HVAC control and energy solutions. - Handle Service Purchase /Procurement Activities (Production & Non Production Items Purchase) Individually for MV/LV Extension Panel, Retrofit/Revamp & Refurbishment requirements within MV/LV Portfolio. - Identification of Appropriate Vendors & send the RFQ as per SCM Procurement Guideline with the help of SCM Team. - Get the Monthly priority from Execution Team and plan proactive procurement activities for Long Lead Items as per quarterly turnover plan. - Manage Vendor Loading by release of on time forecast, schedule priorities, understand lead-time and raise RFQs. Make sure SAFETY Stock of certain standard items. - Ensure On time receipt of Free Issues to the Supplier to maintain delivery Expectations. Adhere closure of all Free Issues Challans with Vendors Etc. - Contribute in developing new vendors considering available cost prospective in each order, long term growth for Service Business with the help of SCM. - Primary Responsibility is to manage all Supply & Service Vendors, logistics, Invoice Bookings & help Vendors to have their on-time payments. - Handle all compliances towards Vendors, Inventory, Rejections Etc. - Work in collaboration with Execution & Operation Team to achieve monthly Turnover targets & meet Contractual delivery requirements. Maintain close co-ordination with Warehouse & BA Commercial Team. - Increase Profitability by doing hard negotiation & get more than 2-5% Savings in each order during finalizing procurement activities. - Align all Purchase activities in line with SCM, Factory Guidelines & adhere all compliances, Safety while handling all the materials. - Get the approval on Cost Estimation Sheet before start of execution. Manage Cost Over Run effectively & bring down cost to the certain extent by having proper alignment with SCM & Vendors. - Support Proposal / Tendering team with proper estimation to Win the Contracts. - Manage various issues related to the Vendor Goods Receipt & IR Booking topic. - Ensure Proper Cost booking for every project well within booked FP. Make sure all cost provisions booked against respective Sales Order prior to the final Invoicing. - Ensure matching of all WIP Item as per Procurement Record & play active role during Quarterly Inventory. - Make regular visits to the Supplier for following up Material as per Priority. Make Sure Quality compliances as per Factory QM Guidelines. - Able to Read & Understand SLD, MV / LV Panel Schemes for Incomers, Bus coupler & Other Trafo / Outgoing Feeders. Basic knowledge of Relays, protections & different type of Feeders in MV / LV switchboards. - Share Regular Feedback to the Execution & Engineering team about issues observed during Manufacturing at Vendor. Drive regular Improvement activities with Supplier to get the error free material inside the factory. - Make sure all Factory Rate Contracts extended to the Customer Service Segment & align Factory Vendors for Long Term Support to Customer Service team. - Keep & update regular documentation towards procurement of material including Test Certificates, Compliances Etc. - Drive various growth initiatives including Digitalization, Value Mapping & other HQ initiatives towards different portfolios. - Good people management skills. - Important qualities we seek are a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, a pro-activeness, “thinking out of the box” with a broad horizon, an aptitude for hard work. - Prior experience in client facing roles is a must especially an understanding of different cultures, their mindsets and their expectations. - Have clear written and oral communication skills and an ability for public speaking. - Be innovative, creative and professional at all times. - Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience with min. 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement activities of MV Switchboards, Service / Operations. - Highly Proficient with Medium & Low Voltage products / Systems / Retrofits - Familiar with Manufacturing Processes/Material Standards, measuring and test equipment. - Good communication skills & Customer orientation. - Good working knowledge on AutoCAD, MS Office Tools.
