Do you want to contribute to the future of healthcare? We have a fantastic opportunity for two 12-month internship placements to join our Customer Service and Quality teams. These full-time quality and service engineering internship placements are based at Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology in Eynsham, near Oxford, and will commence in June or July 2023. As an attentive and dedicated Intern, you will join one of our Customer Service or Quality teams. Our Customer Service engineering support team is a critical support function to our headquarters and global service centres, providing advice and support to field service engineers worldwide. The Customer Service engineering support team are highly skilled and knowledgeable, working to collate data from the MRI installed base and ancillary components to analyse and trend the field data to identify potential process failings and implement proactive solutions. Our Quality department aims to ensure that the organisation is fit for purpose and meets external and internal requirements, including product and company certifications, legal compliance and customer satisfaction. The team works to improve the quality of our superconducting magnets produced at Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology, leading cross functional investigations into quality defects and supporting engineers with supplier quality issues in the pursuit of ongoing continuous improvement and delivering the highest quality products to the customer. Some of your responsibilities in these Quality and Service engineering internship roles will include: · Working within the team and collaborating with other functions to problem-solve and anticipate challenges · Identifying and supporting quality and process improvements · Working with the team to improve the quality and troubleshoot the performance of the superconducting magnets/MRI install base · Improving service solutions that deliver financial savings To apply for this Quality & Service Engineering Intern role, you must be studying towards a degree in engineering (mechanical, electronics, electrical or materials), manufacturing or physics and working towards achieving a 2:2 or above, and looking to complete a 12-month placement as part of your degree. You will also require excellent oral and written communication skills and good problem-solving and reasoning skills. In addition, you should be a good team player whilst also being able to work independently and be self-motivated.
