We are looking to recruit a Service Sales Specialist predominantly responsible for developing the Customer Service (CS) Motion Control (MC) business. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our services portfolio (Service & Maintenance Contracts, Retrofits, Spare Parts, Repair Services and Digitalisation Services) by identifying, developing and creating relationships with new End Users and tightening relationships with existing customers. This site independent role demands developed communication and interpersonal skills as you will collaborate with teams across the business to understand and sell our portfolio elements to our customers. This includes Account Managers, Service Engineers, Project Managers, Commercials, Technical Support and Management teams. Primary function is to act as a customer interface for all service-related matters from the customers across all MC products. • Handling the sales aspect of Service-related matters which include urgent breakdown on-site support requests, service contracts, preventive maintenance works, inspection and repair works, testing and commissioning works, retrofit and modernisation works, etc • Promote and development of the Sales services portfolio (Service & Maintenance Contracts, Spare Parts, Digitalisation Services, Repair Services etc.) ensuring that our financial targets are met or exceeded. • Prepares and coordinate technical quotations and negotiates them with customer ensuring that they are provided in a timely manner, that these are in line with our PM@Siemens and LOA procedures, that these offers and proposals are based on and meet the technical requirements and specifications of our customers, followed up on a regular basis and negotiate them with the customer. • Validate pricing and examine our ability to deliver. Accompany projects during their execution phase to generate follow-up sales. • Maintains a service-related opportunity pipe-line within the CRM tool. • Create real value for our customers through customer driven innovation by having an understanding of their business requirements through regular contact such that strategies and plans are implemented ensuring that we are offering the best solutions. • Support and drive DI Sales (proactively/reactively) by identifying and developing customer opportunities based on data analysis and target customers. Define the service part of the customer strategy and visit customers in coordination with the DI Sales teams to support, consult and drive deals to closure. • Use the CRM tool to maintain customer records, log opportunities, quotations, all account activities whilst ensuring that these are regularly updated. • Ensure that the quality of service provided to each customer meets or exceeds their expectations. • Perform market analysis and information collection on customers, market and competitors. Provide input for marketing e.g. references. Represent service portfolio in marketing activities e.g. at trade fairs. • Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to increase sales volume and expand the customer base. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds · This is a demanding role and we are looking for a proven individual who has and can demonstrate:- • Degree /HND/HNC level in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent experience. • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint • Experience in fault finding, commissioning and maintenance of Siemens legacy and current MC products and systems. • Previous experience of providing service solutions with the latest Siemens DI products. • Very good knowledge in product or service sales for drives and automation equipment/portfolio. • Experience of working within automotive, aerospace, printing, aggregates and engineering industries and related applications e.g. Metal Forming, Printing, Steel, Water & wastewater, marine, pulp & paper, oil & gas or similar • Experience in Project Management. • Demonstrable experience in sales & marketing We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
