This is a role well suited to an ambitious
professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Service Sales
Support Intern, you will be
responsible for:
- In your activities you will be involved in creating email campaigns for multiple departments within the business (i.e. software, point of care, laboratory diagnostics) and to promote service sales through renewals and TMPM campaigns.
- You will accompany and support the inside service sales team with creating and implementing various reporting sheets (i.e. quotas, lease, missed renewals, warranty, team meeting notes)
- You will take part in tracking and creating performance slides for the inside service sales team to provide and further develop the success of the team.
- You will be involved in internal projects to help our internal processes function more productively and efficiently. This will involve communication and cross-over into other internal teams.
- You will be responsible for keeping our policy procedures up to date.
- You will support the service sales team with submitting and reviewing legal requests through SHARE and SHAREVILLE, as well as creating BAAs and amendments.
- You will take part in updating our various tools (i.e. Forecast sheet, ServiceForce, Rapidcomm sheet, Big Wins sheet, etc).

- You have a good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
- You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions
- Willingness to travel and flexibility, including short-term sales meetings or conferences.
- Since you are potentially interacting with customers, excellent speaking skills are necessary.
- You have very good presentation skills in the customer environment, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s (rising junior or senior) or master’s program majoring in sales-related fields (business management, marketing, finance, communications, and economics) or science-related fields (biology, chemistry, or health-care administration).
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Interested in pursuing a career in sales, marketing, or any other business-related field.
- Must feel comfortable working in a team-based environment and local to the Cary, NC office (50 miles or less).
- Must be available to work full-time in the summer (up to 40 hours/week); possibility of extension, if so, must be available to work part-time during the academic year (up to 20 hours/week).
- Must have permanent work authorization and feel comfortable working in a fully virtual environment.
Start date: May 2021; 3-6 month duration.
