Job Description: • Provide Service Support for Process and Factory Automation (PLC, DCS, Industrial Communication, Instrumentation, VFDs) for various manufacturing and process industries customers • Responsible for Siemens Customer Service portfolio – asset optimization, field and remote service support, preventive and predictive maintenance, training, service contracts, digitalization services, spare parts management, etc. – ensuring customers’ optimum plant efficiency and productivity • Hands-on experience in different automation application, programming, installation, commissioning, HW-SW design • Specify, recommend, and implement workable solutions and portfolio application to customers pain points • Well versed and knowledgeable of various industrial automation and electrical equipment and updated with the latest technology application • Develop sustainable and long-term relationships with customers • Provide technical support, training, presentations to external and internal customers • Regular competence building and abreast with latest technology • Customer centric and comfortable to deal with customers from various levels in the organization Job Requirements: • Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or related disciplines • Proven experience in programming Siemens PLC and HMI, PCS7 for automation service engineer position; servicing, commissioning, repair and maintenance of Variable Frequency Drives (for Motion Control) • Can interpret customer specifications, electrical drawings, P&ID diagram, data sheets, etc. • At least 5 years’ job experience in the same field • Experience and exposure in two or more industries – F&B, Chemical, water/ Waste Water, Cement, Power, Utilities, Machine Building, Electronics/ Semicon, Infrastructure, etc. • Experience in industrial networks/ wireless industrial network including Ethernet, Ethernet/IP, Profinet and Profibus • Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills • Familiar with the related engineering standards • Able and willing to travel to customer location and work with a team We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
