Job Description

Position Overview

Siemens Industry, Customer Services Division, Motion Control segment is currently looking for candidates to manage existing portfolio of services, develop new portfolios, productize service offerings and develop strategies to drive the growth of the service portfolios in the marketplace.

Duties include altering and adapting Siemens global portfolio to the US market, developing new regional offerings, and optimizing current portfolio to reduce complexities around the ordering process and improve their overall marketability. Example of these portfolios range from spare parts, remanufacturing/repairs to service agreements and retrofits.

This role will be focused on low voltage drives and motors but may include other technologies and products/services within the motion control and CNC space.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a pricing strategy for 5-8 different portfolios groups and managing the strategic pricing of over 20,000 product SKU’s. This includes the development of pricing strategy and responsibility for managing and updating prices on an annual basis.
  • Developing new service agreement-based portfolios focused on asset optimization of simple and sophisticated automation equipment within various applications (Automotive, aerospace, O&G, Cranes and general manufacturing).
  • Responsible for designing a process to ensure execution of portfolios is feasible within organizations delivery and execution capabilities.
  • Training and supporting sales teams with role out of new portfolio and updates to current portfolio.
  • Development of some marketing material with support from marketing team locally and globally to enhance marketability and penetration of service offerings in the US.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in working in product and portfolio management.
  • Converter/Inverter (Drives) and motors knowledge is required (Low voltage space)

 Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Industrial services background or work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Unites States, and currently reside in the Continental United States to be considered for this role.
