In this role, you have the opportunity to

Play a broad role as a Solution architect for our global business. You will be participating in global project groups responsible for the overall design of the application and improving/adding new functionalities to the ServiceNow platform and shall be closely working with Philips stakeholders and suppliers.

You are responsible for

  • Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow platform by setting design standards and a sustainable framework to manage the changes for adequate defining, documentation, communication, testing and implementation of the new functionalities.

  • Provide business support and consultancy to the stakeholders of ServiceNow (IT, HR, EIM and other business units within Philips).

  • Drive design workshops across projects to translate solution for business requirements along with stakeholders like Product owners, Process owners and Partner SME, etc.

  • Enable innovative solutions to drive process automation across IT Services on ServiceNow Platform.

  • Work with other IT streams to improve the platform adoption and user experience of ServiceNow.

You are a part of

The Service Desk & Process Automation team in the IT Global Services organization. As Solution architect, you will be working closely together with other SME’s, Project Managers, Process owners and Product Owners as well as with several external implementation partners across the globe.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Must be self-motivated with a proven record of accomplishment in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a global organization. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.

  • Bachelor degree in IT, Business Administration or equivalent .

  • Preferably, worked in service desk or support operations in early years.

  • 10+ years of overall experience in IT Service Management .

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow developments\implementations in the ITSM area (including certification).

  • Experience with other ITSM software previously e.g. BMC, Cherwell, HP, etc. are added advantage. Certification around expert or intermediate ITIL framework.

  • You should have good experience in application of standard software development principles e.g. Scaled Agile, Scrum . Exposure of FDA validation process is added advantage.

  • Advanced experience with ServiceNow or ITSM tool configuration and custom development . Around Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service Catalog, Service Portal Integration, Knowledge, Performance Analytics, Mobile UI, Chat.

  • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture and worked integration with other applications.

  • Demonstrated good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities.

  • Solid experience acting in a similar position, combining analytical, consultancy, networking and communication skills with an innovative mindset.

  • Highly motivated and driven, with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a self-managed environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English .

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment.
