An exciting opportunity exists within the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) Operations team for a Settlements Consultant on a fixed-term 18 month contract, based at our offices in Mt Wellington, Auckland.
As the first point of contact for all settlement queries, this hands-on role provides the opportunity for a customer-focused and detailed-oriented consultant to provide high-level service to our dealer network through administrative support of the daily workflow of settlements.
Reporting to the Team Leader Operations, key tasks and responsibilities of this position include:
· To service and assist our Brand Partners dealer network across New Zealand, in the promotion of finance & insurance packages through MBFS NZ, whilst managing the expectations of internal and external customers;
· Authorisation, activation and maintenance of contracts;
· Meeting team KPIs on the timely completion of settlements;
· Timely follow-up of irregular documentation;
· Liaising with internal and external customers to negotiate the resolution of settlement/compliance issues; and
· General administrative tasks, as required.
To be successful in this role you must have strong attention to detail and be able to maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Our busy month-end periods require a dedicated, resilient and pro-active attitude to support our team targets and goals.
Our ideal candidate will have experience within the financial services, banking or insurance industries of loan documentation compliance, including AML compliance requirements, through to the settlement of loan contracts.
