1. Direct contacts to customers

• Written and verbal contacts with suppliers and in particular receivers
• Visits where required to clients
• Co-ordinating the shipments with our customers contract negotiation, signature, coordinating of issuance
• Letter of credit negotiation according to sales contract terms, as well as amendments (value, expire date, terms) and acceptance where necessary of discrepancies.
• Arranging for inspection, sampling, assaying and umpire of the various products
• Declaring quotation periods (hedge) in writing with client – with solid understanding required concerning adjustments
• Preparing for all necessary documentation (holding certificates, bank releases, transport documents, due diligences, stock inspection, insurance, invoices etc.)
• Arrange assay exchange
• Checking and arranging payments, claims
• Put through pricing when customer order; work for pricing in nights and all kinds of none-work hours during LME working days.

2. Bank contacts

• Opening/checking letter of credit
• Arranging for documents and collection of payments

3. Shipping

• Arranging for the various international transport by sea-, rail-, barge and truck, vessel nominations and acceptances
• Arrange issuance of LOI where necessary in close coordination with finance and management
• Approval of vessels to only take place in presence of fully workable letter of credit and in absence thereof coordinate with management
• Insuring the cargo/transports
• Being in regular contact with shipping agents
