Shanghai International School Hiring ICT Teacher
Job Responsibilities
· To develop and implement a comprehensive STEM curriculum that aligns with the IB
program standards and meets the needs of diverse learners.
· To design and deliver approximately 25 engaging and innovative STEM lessons per week
across, utilizing proven best practices in teaching and learning.
· To foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes inquiry, critical
thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students.
· To keep up-to-date with advancements in STEM fields, integrate relevant technologies, and
provide opportunities for hands-on experiences and real-world applications.
· To collaborate with other teachers and departments to ensure the integration of STEM
across the curriculum.
· To monitor and assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and implement strategies
for individualized support and enrichment.
Essential Duties
· Teach and develop a student-centered learning environment in accordance with the school
leadership team's guidance.
· Implement and comply with policies and procedures related to safeguarding, health, safety,
security, confidentiality, and data protection.
· Differentiate instruction based on students' age and ability.
· Set homework according to school policy.
· Monitor students' behavior, relationships, and social development.
· Contribute to the co-curricular program.
· Participate in the school's pastoral care system.
· Engage in personal and professional development activities.
· Communicate with the school leadership team regarding specific learning needs of students.
· Support the admissions and marketing teams by effectively communicating information to
prospective families.
· Promote equality of opportunity and a prejudice-free environment.
· Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the school leadership.
· Demonstrate professionalism, prioritize students' welfare, and align with the school's aims.
· Be adaptable and willing to learn new teaching methods.
· Utilize information technology effectively for teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in science-related fields from an accredited college or university
National or State issued license or certifications

3 years’ experience
English as first language
Master’s degree
