POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose To work in accordance with the IB and the school Mission Statement.
To maintain and develop professional standards as outlined in School policies.
To actively promote openness, professional growth, teamwork and initiatives at the school. In word, demean our and performance, to model the Learner Profile we wish to see developed in our students.

Job Duties Developing curriculum, unit planners and related learning materials to meet the standards of IBDP subject teaching;
Delivering differentiated lessons to students of varying abilities through multiple teaching and learning strategies, with IB philosophy integrated into the course teaching, including approaches to learning & teaching, international mindedness, and learning in local and global context;
Attend all horizontal and vertical staff meetings, including all staff, pedagogical meeting, subject group meeting, and all professional development activities, to promote full collaborative planning and teaching with group members;
Preparing students for IBDP assessment including researching and essay writing supervision; Supervising students for CAS projects or other project-based learning;
Coordinating with other colleagues and senior management team for teaching students proper behavior and maintaining classroom discipline.

Experience
Requirements Licensed teacher under 55 years old;
Be proficient in English;
Bachelor’s degree or above;
Minimum 2 years of full-time working experience in schools. Interested candidates with international education/ IB, A-level or AP experience, certification and/or a master education are strongly preferred.
Flexibility to undertake more than one subject area and/or grade level；
