Compensation and benefit package (before tax):
1. Salary:
Competitive salary,(25K-40K) per month,Including housing allowance
Expatriate Teaching Staff will be entitled to:
– Annual Airfare Allowance: RMB 10,000 each, for a full-time staff member
and accompanying spouse; RMB 5,000 each, for up to two accompanying,
dependent children
– Start of Contract Relocation and Airfare Allowance: Up to RMB 15,000 one
way start of contract Relocation/ Airfare allowance for foreign teachers and
RMB 5,000 for accompanying spouse
– Supplementary Medical Insurance: provided by an insurance company
selected by School
– Statutory Benefits: School statutory benefit contributions
– Visa: Working visa, Foreign Expert Certificate and Residency Permit related
application fees

Position Overview:
The STEMTeacher’s primary responsibility is the support of the social/emotional, physical and intellectual development of each child in alignment with School’s mission and vision. At School our core interdisciplinary academic experiences rigorously connect mastery to inquiry-based project work. Through individual and group projects, our core courses connect knowledge to problem-solving, presentation, and performance—making learning “sticky,” or more permanent. The STEM Teacher collaborates with other subjects to design interdisciplinary projects, personalize learning experiences to meet children’s current
understanding of literacy and numeracy, and incorporate student interests.

• Master’s level degree or above in content area preferred
• Bilingual in English/Mandarin Chinese highly desirable • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in project-based learning, preferably in an independent school
environment • Participates in professional learning communities, grade-level teams, and other collaborative communities
to design and plan instructions, to improve practice, and to achieve student outcomes • Teaching License or certification in the area of expertise
