The main purpose of a Shipbroker is to maintain a good relationship with clients and act as a specialist, intermediary and negotiator between foreign shipowners and multi-national charterers to arrange ocean transport of goods and commodities by sea (including but not limited to business development, negotiations of contracts and so on).

Qualifications/ Skills
Essential requirements

• For English-major graduates, TEM-8 is required.
  
• Or for international trade-major graduates, CET-6 is required
• Full-time regular bachelor’s degree or above, master’s degree is preferred. Excellent academic or comprehensive performance is required. Fresh graduates or those with less than 2 years’ working experience are also considered.

Others The ideal candidate should also have：

• Excellent learning ability
  
• Familiar with Computer Office Software
  
• Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills
