Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for filling orders from Warehouse locations and prepares merchandise for shipment in accordance with customer profiles and order specifications.

Responsibilities:

Fills customer orders by obtaining material from designated picking bays. Fills out proper paperwork by indicating quantities being picked. Moves orders to staging area and consolidates for ease of repacking and stretch wrapping.

Prepares merchandise for shipment by verifying goods by quantity, catalog number, and size against Pick List. Consolidates goods, restacks on proper skids when required per customer instructions. Sorts and applies computerized shipping label. Stretch wraps for shipment when required.

Completes necessary paperwork including Packing List and Bill of Lading. Stages orders on floor or loads directly on spotted trailers.

Uses material handling equipment as required to pick product, i.e., hand truck and motorized pallet truck.

Will be trained and licensed to operate picker truck, stand up truck, sit-down truck, walkie/rider and electric pallet truck. Will be the backup and replacement for fork truck operators as required.

Performs all required warehouse transactions in the SAP operating system on PC.

Operates the Clippership, UPS, Federal Express manifesting systems and mail equipment as required.

Completes Cycle Count Sheets when inventory discrepancies are found.

Complies with all warehouse safety procedures.

Performs general housekeeping duties.

Performs other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and follow written instructions. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently using good judgment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to drive and be certified in lift truck operation. Must have good depth perception vision. Overtime may be required during week and on weekends.
