职责描述
- Manage assigned sections of the department to ensure smooth operation of daily business at high standard, provide timely and effective resolution of any issues, problems arising from operations, set performance targets for individual teams, monitor and coach teams to achieve targets.
- Assist department manager on various managerial matters such as performance management, hiring and training, process improvement, etc.
- Keep abreast of changes in customer or authority requirements, participate in communicate / negotiate proposals to meet those requirements, design or refine process for successful implementation.
- Execute cross function and/or cross country projects on new business, process or performance improvement.
- Assist in plan, monitor and review recruitment and training of new employees to ensure adequate manpower equipped with proper technical and functional skills and knowledge in order to fit business needs
- Cultivate, motivate, coach, and develop supervisors and team leads on management and leadership skills, to ensure a proper succession plan is well executed as contribution to the continuity and growth of the organization.
- Conduct BCP training and drills to ensure achievement of recovery capacity target. Lead the team in executing BCP during any emergency situation.

- University Graduate
- Minimum 5 year experience and 3 years in middle level management positions, shipping or logistics industry preferred.
- In-depth knowledge in shipping/logistics industry.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and meeting external and internal customer expectations.
- Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills and experience.
- Good knowledge of law rules and regulations in shipping/logistics industry.
- Good knowledge in shipping/logistics operation processes in terms of customer service, Sales, Operation.
- Good command of oral and written English
- Creativity and innovative thinking.
