Job Title - Shipping Manager

Job purpose

As a Shipping Manager, you will effectively manage the shipping and delivery process for all Matrix orders by maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders. You will ensure that all client delivery deadlines are met.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the critical path process, ensuring orders are delivered on time and all teams are informed of relevant status updates.
• Keep an accurate log of all logistics activity, covering costs, movement and storage of goods, ensuring you analyse any logistical problems and produce solutions.
• Accountable for complying with export laws and keeping self and others informed of relevant changes.
• Ensure that client delivery manuals are managed by you and your team to meet all requirements.
• Review the current shipping process and make improvement plan.
  

Qualifications & prior experience

• Minimum 5 years critical path management and shipping process experience.
• Ability to lead and coach a team to grow.
• Excellent negotiation skill.
• Written and oral fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel.
