Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team on 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Rumford, RI facility. In this function you will: You will pick up, pack and wrap all outgoing shipments, packages, and letters (routine, express, and confidential) using proper size mailing folders, mailing containers, cartons, wooden boxes, and crates. Contact carriers for freight pickup and signature. You will weigh, mark and attach labels, stencil and prepare packing slips, bar code and traffic documents by shipper. Work with shipping documents, marking instructions and or verbal instructions. You will prepare documentation for parcel post, mail ups, and ail other shipments, ensuring that proper documentation, signatures, and manifests are obtained and distributed. You will pick up/deliver parts, materials, and supplies to vendors and/or customers. You will occasionally operate trucks or cars. Maintain vehicles to ensure fluid levels are correct, interior and exterior of vehicles are clean and monthly maintenance service program is followed. You will also operate forklift and other related material handling equipment. You will sign for, receive in, deliver and stock all incoming materials, supplies and finished goods. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
