What you will be doing:  

• Assisting all departments in the distribution of supplies and products while accounting for all goods from food stores and receiving areas
• Ensure all products received are properly stored, while maintaining rotation and storage areas
• Participation in monthly inventory counts
• Unload merchandise from delivery trucks
• Familiarity of merchandise used within the hotel
• Daily cleaning of storage areas
• Maintain personal physical health & safety awareness in moving and lifting stock
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
• Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous warehouse experience an asset
• Knowledge of hotel and department operations an asset
• Self‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
• Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
• Must be physically capable of meeting demands of the position: standing, walking, bending, lifting 80lbs and pushing carts ranging from 500lbs – 1,000lbs

You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
