Eaton’s Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure Division is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Team Lead on 1st shift to join our CPO team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Shipping/Receiving Lead conducts oversight of material handlers and shipping/receiving specialists to ensure safe materials handling practices, timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound deliveries, and application of inventory management best practices. In this role you will: Be responsible for entering data for shipping and receiving customer orders and processing all orders released to the warehouse and accounts for all shipments by end of day. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers as well as resolves and corrects problems with both domestic and international shipments. Resolve shipping/receiving issues related to invoicing, shipping, and on-hand counts in warehouse. Assist in the coordination of yearly Physical Inventory. Manage and coordinate shipping/receiving of Container, TL LTL, and Small Parcel shipments. Communicate effectively with production plants and carriers in order to meet or exceed customers’ request (OTD). Administer and manage file systems to ensure accuracy of transaction documentation and records of incoming/outgoing material as well as performing shipping and receipt transactions such as material requisitions. Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal, and global regulations. Sort, check, verify, record, examine and route incoming and outgoing shipments. Participate/coordinate projects and teams that support business and continuous improvement goals. Supervise the loading/unloading of deliveries to include scanning and tagging as needed. Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety rules, regulations, and work instructions. Use and promote the principles of 5S to ensure a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Basic (Required) Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including processing shipping documents, including customer orders, pick tickets, bill of lading and packing slips, Containers Booking documentation, Commercial Invoices. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Relocation assistance is not available for this position only candidates within a 50 mile radius of the facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Position Criteria: MS Office Applications Proficiency with strong attention to detail. Excel advance knowledge preffered. Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and use good judgment and problem solving skills. Strong written and oral communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand or bend frequently. Must have good visual accuracy acuity. Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of SAP IM and WM inbound and outbound order processing. Strong knowledge of Eaton warehousing processes, procedures, and safety regulations.
