- Receive and review customer requests to return products to Perth (excess stock, warranty, order errors, products for modification etc.)
- Issue Return Authorizations (electronically or manually) to the customer where appropriate or provides an explanation where not approved.
- Utilize the RMA system and the Returns & Adjustment Policy to evaluate returns and accept or reject claims
- Work with marketing managers to get approvals for larger return requests
- Process data through databases, spreadsheets, updates system information and functionality.
- Inspect returned product and accompanying documentation to determine the status of the return
- Assess the condition of returned material to determine acceptability, and act as back up for the return’s inspector
- Apply policies related to restocking charges, rejections etc.
- May repackage or re-label products to return to acceptable condition
- Communicate with Customers, CSC, CFS and at times may also deal with Product Managers or Engineering when addressing issues or non-standard returns
- Forward accepted material to the warehouse together with Receiving paperwork for return to stock. Update system information to notify accounting of customer credits.
- Update and maintains files and database records within the department

Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within 80 Km radius of Perth, ON Canada will be considered.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without ongoing company sponsorship
- Forklift experience preferred
- Electrical or Electronics field degree
- Experience with electrical products, familiarity with Eaton part numbering and various facility operating systems is preferable.
- A good mechanical aptitude, good organization, communication & interpersonal skills are required.
- Intermediate computer skills together with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision, flexible and function as part of a multifunctional team.
