Position Summary

Greenlight Planet is looking for a Internal Shipping Specialist, who will take responsibility for shipments and related work to international destinations. He/She need coordinate factory and logistics company smoothly, finish import/export regulations and documentation timely, feedback and resolve emergency accurately.

Key responsibilities for the role:

• Coordinate pickup and movement of shipment with factories and carriers/forwarders.

• Ensure timely shipments are made by coordinating with operations team, Shipping, and freight forwarders.

• Finish shipment international documentation for import/export

• Process any miscellaneous export shipments and return shipments if applicable.

• Learn about products, to coordinate with 3rd party like SGS to finish products inspection

• Resolve customer complaints, investigate and respond to inquiries regarding shipping discrepancies and other specific order or shipment problems.

• Assist in researching root and operational causes of shipment complaints. Provide recommendations to address issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Understand communicated international shipment requirements to ensure that government regulations/processes are followed.

• Responsible for effective communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and billing audits, as well as routine clerical customer service and order processing functions.

• Provide shipping advice to customers and provide necessary follow-up and problem resolution.

Requirements:

1. At least one year of work experience in shipment arrangement, tracking, and customs clearance documentation including:

• Familiar with the shipment operations

• Ability of communicating closely and efficiently with stakeholders. E.g. freight forwarders, factories, colleagues etc.

• Patience in tracking shipments and giving on-time feedback to managers, overseas operations team and other stakeholders.

• Experience dealing with critical cases such as additional customs inspection, document correction, etc.

• Ability to carefully issue customs declaration and clearance documents.

2. Trained (bachelor’s degree preferred) in logistics or related fields.

3. Fluency in both English and Mandarin

4. Passion to learn and grow together with a new, rapidly-growing company.

5. Experience with computer software including MS Word and Excel.

6. Obey job arrangement and have strong mind-set of responsibility especial in peak season.

Highly Preferred:

1. Experience working with specific technologies and operations areas:

• Shipment operation: sea shipments, and air shipments

• Customs declaration documentation audits, such as commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin etc.

• LC documents audit.

• Shipment exception analysis, handling, feedback and record.
