Job Title: Ships Operator

Handle daily time charter and voyage operations of dry bulk and container fleets of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and communicate with the commercial charterers and all parties involved for shipments
• Ensure cargo transportation as per contracts
• Coordinate and handle stowage planning, hold utilization, hold cleaning, bunker stems, laytime / dem and account close out, claims and dispute
• Voyage planning and coordinate with master, charterers, brokers, agents, surveyors, weather routine bureau, port etc
• Work with account department to calculate, invoice and ensure receipt of charter hire or freight and other outstanding amounts
• Ensure cost efficiency

Requirements:

• Write and speak English and Chinese (Mandarin), Cantonese is optional but an advantage
• Fresh graduate will be considered (1-2 yrs of relevant experience preferred)
• Knowledge of regulations and procedures for operation is an advantage
• Experience in both voyage and time charter shipping operations
• Problem solvers
