What you will be doing in this role: - Prepares welded assembly, according to standard work instructions for the next assembly process. - Understands manufacturing drawings, able to verify dimensions and welding symbols. - Must complete all shop order documentation as required or directed. - Removing dents or other surface imperfections or depressions. - Straightens the outer sheathing distorted by welding by mechanical means an/or by application of a limited amount of localized heat and vacuum plates. - Works closely with experienced straightener to complete tasks. - Must verify work by using the proper tools and equipment such as but not limited to; straight edge, measuring tape and templates. - Meet internal Company standards for quality and workmanship - Expected to contribute and maintain conditions that will ensure a healthy and safe working environment. - May be requested or required to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts as business needs dictate. - Cross training will be required to cover business needs. - Other duties as assigned Function / Degree Preferred: High school education or equivalent. 1 year warehouse experience required. Must have a valid California driver's license. Familiarity with parts and stock items is desirable. Data entry experience helpful.
