Siemens Real Estate (SRE) wants YOU as our next SRE Americas Communications Specialist. You will be responsible for most of the SRE Americas corporate communication activities like press releases, internal announcements, annual event planning, board meetings, town halls /employee meetings and any media events (i.e., ribbon cutting). We would like you to will drive the internal and external communications within the SRE AM organization and support the SRE Global Headquarters (G-HQ) Communications team with communicating with the Region/Clusters. Be responsible to define and implement a regional communication roadmap aligned across the countries of the Americas and the SRE G-HQ. We would like you to have advanced background in internal and external communications with a proven track record in utilizing communication for change management; work with the Head of Business Development & Portfolio Management (BD /PMM) to support the communication design of the communication strategies; plan events, write press releases and executive speeches as needed. You will support the Head of BD/PMM to establish the program to improve overall SRE employee engagement across the region, including the implementation of a regular newsletter and maintenance of the SRE AM intranet. We will need you to potentially travel up to 15% each month domestically and occasionally internationally. Requirements: For a Senior Siemens Real Estate Americas Communications Specialist, you will need 10 years successfully performing the planning, directing, and executing of communications to internal and external stakeholders with 7 years of experience designing and delivering communications strategies. For a Siemens Real Estate Americas Communications Specialist, you will need 7 years successfully performing the planning, directing, and executing of communications to internal and external stakeholders with 5 years of experience designing and delivering communications strategies. 3 years of experience in event planning design and execution BA in communications or equivalent is required. Advanced degree / or relevant work experience maybe substituted. Working knowledge of crisis communication planning and strategy Basic understanding of Real Estate management concepts ideal but not required Other written and spoken language skills a plus, but not required (German, Spanish, French, Portuguese) Advanced MS power point skills required Preferred Requirements: Additional language skills preferred but not required (German, Spanish, French, and/or Portuguese) Other written and spoken language skills a plus, but not required (German, Spanish, French, Portuguese) Advanced capability in preparing executive communications, speech writing Siemens Real Estate (SRE) is responsible for the professional management of Siemens’ real estate portfolio world wide.
