The focus of this role is to be part of a Server silicon uncore firmware team that is an encouraging and cooperative software engineering team that delivers industry leading firmware for cutting edge Intel silicon products. The team works collaboratively with silicon architect, design, and validation engineers to understand, develop, and validate silicon uncore firmware. Uncore is collection of key interfaces that connect CPU to CPU, CPU to PCIe, and various other key CPU components.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, test, and improve uncore firmware
- Create, improve, and maintain internal documentation
- Collaborate and work with other teams to deliver high quality firmware
- Debug and root cause firmware problems

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.
Education Requirement
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ months experience with:
- C or C++ programing, or Python
- PC architecture and operating systems

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
