Site Controls Engineer – Lebanon, TN
The controls engineer works with the rest of reliability team to troubleshoot and resolve control, control network, and I/O issues. This associate also works with project engineer, controls techs, and area owners to implement improvement projects.

 

What would your key responsibilities be?
•    Maintain stability of controls network from both a hardware and software perspective
•    Troubleshoot issues with controls and I/O to facilitate plant operations
•    Conduct post-issue evaluations to implement long-term fixes and prevent re-occurrence
•    Develop and drive the necessary control improvements to match production efficiency improvements
•    Implement controls changes for human safety and food safety improvements
•    Implement new equipment and start-up from a controls perspective

 

What are we looking for?
•    A minimum of 5 years of Controls experience
•    A minimum of 2 years of Controls experience in a food production environment
•    Experience with the entirety of Allen Bradley controls portfolio from SLC500 to current
•    Experience with both traditional ladder logic and structured text
•    Familiarity with OMRON controls
•    Experience in drive controls, I/O sensors, all PLC hardware
•    Some experience with cybersecurity aspects of PLCs
