Scope

Report to: SC Support Function Director

Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:

1 EHS Compliance:

• Be familiar for relevant EHS law & regulation and understand the requirements for relevant activity in order to ensure full compliance with the law & regulation requirements.

• Be familiar with relevant DG chemical regulation and ensure full compliance with the regulation.

• Be responsible to apply, obtain and maintain relevant safety license – DG production license and DG sale license.

• Coordinate with local authority about land, building and facility issues.

• Coordinate with local authority for site safety inspection.

2. Safety & Environment operation:

• Plans, develops and organizes appropriate internal training programs related to safety and environment.

• Plans and schedules required safety or DG certificate training.
  

• Ensures and promotes a safety attitude throughout the facility, specially throughout the manufacturing or repair areas.

• Coordinate and monitor site guard team works to ensure not safety and security issue for the site.

• Daily inspection for site and activities, ensure not potential safety or environment issues.

• Responsible for site first aid and fire brigade team.

• Responsible for relevant safety and environment reports.

• As safety & environment expert, provide supports & advice for site activity or project implementations.

3. Safety & Environment system:

• Plan, develop and manage qualified ISO14001 system.
  

• Ensures accurate record keeping of files required for ISO14001 safety and environment system.

• Plan or coordinate for all kind of audits for safety & environment system (i.e. internal audit, customer audit and 3rd party audit).

4. Safety & Environment facility maintenance:

• Plan, coordinate subcontractor for safety & environment facility.

• Effectively manage all subcontract service contracts related to E&S facility.

• Be familiar with FM requirements, implement necessary corrective & preventive actions to ensure compliance to FM requirements for building and facility.

5. Others:

• Be responsible to manage or control energy and water consumption to reach relevant target.

• Be responsible for waste reduction and control.

• As DG knowledge and environment expert, provide advice for DG chemical label and inquiry about environment management substance.

• Arrange regular 3rd party test for environment management substance on consumables and keep the certificates.

Position/Job Requirements:

Education/Training Required:

• Preferably a degree in environment engineering or industrial engineering
  

• With bachelor or above degree from an university

Work Experience Required:

Very good experience on E&S management and control

Minimum of 3 years experience on similar position

Knowledge

Good knowledge on EHS.

5S knowledge

ISO14001 E&S management system

WORD, PPT and excel

• Must be able to speak and write good professional English.

Skills:

Good communication / influencing skills (Train, run, motivate working sessions with both internal & overseas teams)

Strong analytical and simulation skills

Ability to work on own initiative
