Job Description:

1. Responsible for checking and endorsement of all temporary works and design
2. Responsible for Monitoring and follow site progress of the design development and the temporary works design
3. Inspection of the construction of temporary works, provide independent checking and endorse the relevant certificates
4. Check and review all discrepancy between Architectural drawings and Structural drawings;
5. Monitor, review and modify if necessary the design works being carried out by the subcontractors including design work by NSC;
6. Supervise the construction of all structural work including work by NSC;
7. Monitor the compliance of the Project Quality Plan and the Specification to control the quality of workmanship;
8. Ensure inspection and all quality documents are prepared and carried out according to the Specification and Building Regulation;
9. Collaborate with all contractors in resolving any co-ordination and construction problems;
10. Coordinate and liaise with the consultant and relevant Authorities for submission, approval, consent, inspection and testing, and prepare relevant document for OP at appropriate times;
11. Attend and be well-prepared for all meetings and inspections;
12. Supervise and direct the work of engineer subordinate;

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• 6 years relevant experience;
• MHKIE preferred;
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP2000;
• Familiar with BD Regulation and Code of Practice;
• Leadership skill, self-motivated and able to work independently;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good command of spoken and written English& Cantonese
