The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. Our task is to take the responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. IKEA Components have also the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia and China.
Job Description
To support your business by setting and leading the Quality and sustainability strategic agenda. To secure, develop and improve the quality and ways of working and lead by example in order to reach one quality agenda.
- Secure follow up of process performance and as well as maturity and compliance to set KPI's and methods.
- Responsible to hold together and secure system compliance for GO/NOGO, IWAY and FSC certification.
- Facilitate annual audit plan, prepare relevant materials for internal and external audit, and assist in internal audit; Actively participate in the internal and external audit of the company; According to the audit findings, fully communicate with all departments, formulate the rectification plan, and follow up according to the plan.
- Timely update the system documents according to the laws and regulations, the defined framework, communicate with each function to ensure the accurate and effective implementation of the system documents, do a good job in archiving and safely managing the documents.
- Lead trainings and secure that learning solutions are rolled out in agreement with global process development for new and existing co-workers as well as suppliers.
- Involve and support the agenda of global quality and sustainability. Be an active member of the relevant Global Matrix Group and contribute to the agenda development by leading and/or contributing to global development projects.
- Lead, support or facilitate the implementation of way of working with process-oriented business development in IKEA Components P&D.
- Identify and propose the direction of process/sub-process design and improvement plan and prepare basis for decision-making.
- Participate in external networks for benchmarking and enhance knowledge in appointed processes.
Qualifications
A KNOWLEDGE
- University degree in quality/sustainability management or equivalent competence gained through work experience.
- 3-5 years’ experiences in quality and preferable experiences in sustainability.
- Good knowledge of Quality Management systems(ISO9000 etc.).
- Knowledge of Social and Environment Management Systems (ISO 14001, SA8000, OHSAS etc.)
- Good knowledge about continuous improvements
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbally.
- Good understanding of industrial production.
- Good knowledge of how your everyday work adds customer value.
