In this role, he/she will perform functions to ensure system reliability and stability for AIA Singapore’s applications and services. His/her primary role includes  :

• Be responsible for the heath, performance and stability of our systems
• Building monitoring systems to maintain overall stability and efficiency of the systems
• Design and own SRE processes for the organization
• Own the software/system engineering roadmap and provide technical leadership
• Manage the on-call rotations
• Play a key role in shaping the learning, sharing and no-blaming culture.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT solutions delivery in large scale application systems for large organizations, especially financial institutions.
• At least 3 years of experience in SoftwareAG Product Suite (WebMethods) – Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Terracotta, MyWebmethods Server, API Gateway.
• At least 2 years of experience with RDBMS in MS-SQL / PostgreSQL or any other RDBMS
• At least 2 years of experience in Java 8 or higher and Spring framework
• At least 1-2 years of experience / understanding in Azure Cloud or any other Cloud Providers, with good knowledge on Docker/Kubernetes, NGINX, Cloud Storage etc.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Strong knowledge / experience skills; some of these areas - Webservices, REST API, Jboss/Tomcat, Java, JavaScript.
• Good understanding of large enterprise infrastructure environments involving connectivity between multi-tier firewalls and load-balancers, integration of web and application servers, middleware and backend databases or legacy platforms.
• The incumbent must be a good team player, and should have high level of integrity, business acumens, and strong customer-centric mindset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment.
• Good understanding in ITIL concepts in incident, problem and change management.
